National Workforce Projects sets the benchmark with NetSearch
Enhanced solution includes new Mental Health database
Ardentia Search, in conjunction with business partner Ardentia, is delighted to announce the go–live of the new Workforce Benchmarking Database search engine for the NHS National Workforce Projects (NWP) who are part of Skills for Health.
Using the next generation NetSearch technology, a new and stylish intuitive user interface has been developed which provides the NHS and general public with PCT, acute trust and mental health benchmarking workforce statistics.
The solution, which was demonstrated by the NWP team at the Working Time Directive 2009 Exhibition, allows organisations to benchmark themselves against other organisations on a whole host of criteria including quality, staffing, activity, crime, employment, finance, morbidity and many more. Once selected, results are then presented to the user in a clear, concise format with the ability to show the results using many different interactive charting options.
"We are delighted to have had the opportunity to work together with Ardentia Search on the new Workforce Benchmarking Database search engine. The workforce benchmarking database was developed two years ago in partnership with Leeds University and is a popular tool on our web portal. The new search engine that has been developed by Ardentia Search is simple to use and allows users to easily access data from the databases. We are very much looking forward to receiving the first feedback from users."
Rayaz Patel, Senior Project Manager for National Workforce Projects.
Ardentia Search and Ardentia have extensive experience in providing world class solutions into the healthcare sector, an example being the Pathway Manager solution which allows organisations to identify patient healthcare pathways and to monitor the progress of patients along these pathways in order to meet the requirements of the 18–week wait referral to treatment time in England or the 26–week wait referral to treatment time in Wales.
"We are delighted to have worked with National Workforce Projects to deliver an improved Benchmarking Database. This is a perfect example of how NetSearch can be used to help any organisation get a better understanding of the data they hold, regardless of the source system on which it resides. Netsearch with its point and click interface allows users to get the answers they need without having to learn complicated technical commands."
Greg Richards, Sales & Marketing Manager for Ardentia Search
The Benchmarking Database will be extended in the near future with the addition of midwifery data.
