Ardentia Search adds enhanced indexing to the Windream Document Management System

Windream is a highly successful Microsoft Windows based Document Management and Archiving system. It is used by organisations as a secure store of critical business documents generated by Windows applications, emails, scanned documents and even CAD files.

Whilst Windream has its own powerful search facility based on key words to search and a Full Text Search facility, Ardentia Search is regarded as a complementary enquiry solution that adds further value to these facilities.

Ardentia Search indexes the Windream metadata, all the document version data and the stored documents. It can also index documents held in other systems such as Lotus Notes and information held in application databases.

The Ardentia Search structured search interface is the most intuitive and advanced query facility available today. It enables end users to ask a single question and view the results from all the information stores on a single screen.

Ardentia Search integrates seamlessly into Windream using the same windows based security access. This means that the end user is automatically and securely logged into Windream to view documents when he/she wishes to view one from the list of search results.
